Cookie Policy

We keep cookies to a minimum. Here is exactly what we use and why.

What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser when you visit a website. We use cookies and similar browser storage to operate the Service and, with your consent, to understand how it is used.

Cookies We Use

Strictly Necessary

Always active

Required for the Service to function. Includes your authentication session so you stay logged in. Cannot be disabled. These do not track you across other websites.

sb-access-token — auth session (session-scoped)

sb-refresh-token — auth refresh (30 days)

cookie-consent — your consent preference (1 year)

Analytics

Always active — no cookies set

We use Vercel Analytics, which is fully cookieless and does not fingerprint your device or set any cookies. It collects only anonymous, aggregated page-view counts. Because no personal data or cookies are involved, consent is not required under the ePrivacy Directive. We list it here purely for transparency.

Marketing & Advertising

Not used

We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or share data with ad networks of any kind.

Your Choices

When you first visit Recently, a banner asks for your consent for non-essential cookies. You can change your preference at any time using the "Cookie Preferences" link in the footer.

You can also manage cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling strictly necessary cookies will prevent the Service from working correctly.

Legal Basis

Strictly necessary cookies are processed under Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (contract performance) and do not require consent. All other cookies require your explicit prior consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive as implemented in Austrian law (TKG 2003).
